I hold a Master’s degree in Play Therapy from the University of Roehampton and have worked with children and young people with a wide range of needs and life experiences, including those affected by trauma, bereavement, anxiety, and challenging circumstances at home or school.  My work has taken place across diverse settings, including mainstream and specialist schools, early years provisions, the charity sector, and within the NHS. I have also had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, both in inner-city London and abroad as a teacher in Eastern Europe.

 

Alongside my therapeutic work, I am also a teacher specialised in providing trauma-informed and tailored education to children with Autism Spectrum Conditions  and complex needs (including PDA, ADHD and visual impairments).  I have led teams of support staff in child-centered and neuro-affirming approaches, encouraging professionals to understand behaviour as a meaningful form of communication. My background ensures a holistic understanding of a child’s world, allowing me to bridge the gap between home, school, and therapeutic support with deep compassion and clinical expertise.
 

I am committed to anti-oppressive practice and to working towards wider, fairer access to therapeutic support. I strive to offer a space where all children and families feel respected, understood, and valued, whatever their background or identity.
 

I work in accordance with BAPT professional standards and ensure that my practice is safe and ethical. I receive regular clinical supervision, hold full professional insurance, and have an enhanced DBS certificate.
